THE FUTURE IS BEING SHAPED THIS SUMMER AT SFASAS SUMMER CAMP

As summer is ending, 1200 South Florida After-School All-Stars (SFASAS) students are gearing up for the school year after summer camp 2026. These All-Stars have spent the summer exploring future career paths, venturing on educational field trips, and learning about everything from AI advancement to how to play Aladdin. This is how All-Stars enrich underserved youth and build a welcoming community of future leaders.

All-Stars are introduced to new career opportunities all summer. Ricky, a high school All-Star, said, “You guys helped me find which career path I want;I could be a sound engineer!” Through participation in the All-Star music program, Ricky had his first-ever experience producing a song, alongside a team of other students. At the end of the camp showcase, they performed one of their songs live, and now Ricky is looking to explore a career in music – something he never thought possible before All-Stars.

Ricky is one of many students who came out of camp with a sense of direction for their future. This is the kind of impact SFASAS is having with the mission of providing programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life. And they are doing it all for free. College readiness, workforce development, leadership development, and not to mention lunch – all for no cost to the students’ families.

The future is being shaped this summer as students have fun learning at South Florida After-School All-Stars Summer Camp. To help, visit SFASAS.org and get involved.
