Project HEAL (Healthy Eating, Active Living)
Within the Health impact area, United Way of Miami-Dade, provides support to South Florida After-School All-Stars to engage students, their parents, and the community in health and wellness solutions that encompass physical, emotional and mental wellbeing at every age.
New York Life 2022 Aim High Grant Program
South Florida After-School All-Stars was one of 40 youth development organizations across the United States to be awarded funding in support of middle school youth during the out-of-school-time hours. These dollars are provided to help sustain programs for middle school students in the face of the many challenges the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have on children and out-of-school programs.
Ocean Reef Community Foundation
Provides support for afterschool enrichment programs for 60 middle school students at two Homestead schools.
