21st CCLC

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative is a key component of the No Child Left Behind Act. The 21st CCLC has been a major funder of South Florida After-School All-Stars (SFASAS) to provide opportunities for academic enrichment, including providing tutorial services to help students, particularly to students who attend low-performing schools, to meet state and local student academic achievement standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and mathematics. Also enabling SFASAS to offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities, such as youth development activities, drug and violence prevention programs, counseling programs, art, music, and recreation programs, technology education programs and character education programs, that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students. Offer families of students served by community learning centers opportunities for literacy and related educational development.

The Children’s Trust
Since 2005 The Children’s Trust has been a community funder of the After-School All-Stars. Their funding has helped SFASAS to expand and provide more services to middle schools students and families in the Miami-Dade community.

MetroPCS Communications, Inc. the leader in flat-rate, no annual contract and unlimited wireless service, is proud to partner with the South Florida Chapter of After-School All-Stars to empower local youth to move forward in school and in life. MetroPCS is committed to building stronger communities and believes that supporting youth – who are tomorrow’s leaders – is the key to building a brighter future. Through this multi-year partnership, MetroPCS will support ASAS’s school-based, comprehensive after-school programming in South Florida.

Fox Sports South Florida

Since 2010, FOX Sports South Florida has worked with After-School All-Stars to continue its Sports as a Hook initiative and the All-Stars Superfest/Health Fair, with the goal of tackling the childhood obesity crisis by helping kids become more physically active and knowledgeable about healthy eating choices.

Health Foundation of South Florida

The Health Foundation of South Florida mission is to improve the health of people in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. They Support SFASAS in providing nutrition and health programs to increase the knowledge of the students and families in our c ommunity to make better choices

IRIE Foundation

IRIE Foundation seeks to improve the lives of South Florida youth through education and extracurricular opportunities that may not otherwise be available to them. With a particular emphasis on the arts, the foundation`s ultimate goal is to improve the graduation rate among the young people it serves. The Foundation supports our “We Are Ready” curriculum for middle school students to be mentored and encouraged to remain in school and strive for a post-secondary education.

Carnival Foundation

The Carnival Foundation is dedicated to creating positive change through empowering youth, enhancing education and strengthening families in the communities where we live and work. Carnival supports the After-School All-Stars CEO program which educates students on various career opportunities and strategies to reach their educational goals.
