The goals of CHH are to leverage the game of basketball to provide youth participants with:

Through basketball drills, tournament games, classroom leadership activities and guest speakers from the professional basketball world, CHH participants will learn leadership skills including, Discipline, Fairness, Respect, Leadership, Selflessness, Resilience, Vision and Responsibility. During one-on-one time with mentors, students will become aware of opportunities available to them in high school, college and beyond. This week’s guest speakers include:
o DJ Irie, Official DJ of the Miami Heat
o Allen Furst, President of Agency 21
o Michael McCullough, EVP/CMO at Miami HEAT
o Jeannie Monks, Marketing Associate at FOX Sports Florida / Sun Sports
Camp Director Aaron Dworkin says, “In order to engage students while they are on spring break, we’re providing an evening camp for kids who love basketball but might not make the NBA, kids who work hard in school, but may not be sure where all the work will lead down the road. We believe that through the experiential teaching power of basketball, we can give kids positive role models, develop them as leaders and help them become more aware of all their options in life. We are thrilled to be offering this program again.”
