She works closely with the Board on the communications and fundraising strategy to support the goals, objectives and activities of After-School All-Stars South Florida. Natalia works to extend our mission by cultivating connections in the community and building strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, individuals, government agencies and the media.

Natalia has a successful track record with over 15 years in external relations, corporate partnerships and development—having an extensive background in non-profit fundraising as well as sales and business development in the for-profit sector. Natalia has handled corporate relations and philanthropy as well as event fundraising for Baptist Health South Florida Foundation (South Florida’s top-ranking hospital system and largest employer) and for Florida International University (FIU). Before coming to ASAS, She helped to manage Diageo’s corporate social responsibility program, “Learning For Life,” which offers at-risk youth training for jobs and life skills, giving them the opportunity to find permanent jobs in hospitality. This award-winning program fuses private and public sector resources to impact over 20,000 students every year in 30 countries. She helped grow this gold-standard regional program into a global program operating on several continents. Natalia also did sales, business development and marketing for companies such as AT&T, GlaxoSmithKline, and Rangy Enterprise (her family’s business).

Natalia received her Executive MBA from FIU and her undergrad from Spring Hill College, both with honors. Together with her husband, Fernando, who is a tennis pro, they are raising their two daughters, Valeria and Valentina. Natalia says the best thing besides cooking for her family, is traveling and exploring new places together, because “it always reminds us how blessed we are and how important it is to constantly look at life from another perspective.”
